Child loss awareness survey
This survey is part of a larger project on maternal identity and child loss. Through a grant from the Arizona Arts Commission, I’m exploring how child loss impacts maternal identity. This data will be used to great programs and art projects to support and educated women working through these issues on a broader community scale.
-
How much of the population understands what maternal identity is? How many more women face child loss without community support or different types of support aside from grief support groups? How can we educate women on the importance of group awareness, education, and community around this topic?
-
What types of education are needed for more women to be prepared for the realities of child loss? How can we share this information in a trauma informed supportive way? How can we prepare women for the possibility of she or someone she knows experiencing child loss?
-
What does community around maternal identity and child loss look like? How many different programs would be needed to create space for these topics and what could they look like? How can we support each other with awareness, education, and community togther?
